EUPHEMISMS OF THE LEXICAL-SEMANTIC GROUP OF DISEASE AND DEATH IN MODERN RUSSIAN AND CHINESE WITH AGAINST THE BACKGROUND OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

semantic group "disease" and "death" in modern Chinese and Russian, especially in the press, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was revealed that euphemisms of the lexical-semantic group "disease" and "death" are divided into two groups, respectively, the group of death in its turn is subdivided into die, perish, dead, etc., and the group of disease can also be subdivided into disease (coronavirus), spread of infection, symptoms and consequences of coronavirus, patient, and so on.
