The article analyzes the use of adjectives-neologisms in modern electronic media. Using the example of the media Gazeta.ru, it was revealed that new adjectives are found in the texts of publications quite often. The main ways in which they are formed are prefixal, suffixal, addition. One of the trends is the hyphenated spelling of both prefixes and parts of complex words, emphasizing the structure of the neologism and the semantics of its parts. Journalists are attracted to neologism adjectives by their relevance, brightness, expressiveness, intensity, semantic capacity, accuracy, and detail.
