THE ROLE OF THE TUTOR IN THE MODERN EDUCATIONAL ENVIRONMENT

The article is devoted to defining the role of the tutor in the students‘ life, as well as to describing his qualities and tasks. A study was conducted to identify the main requirements for a modern tutor, to find out the expectations of students when working with him, also to determine the main tutor’s mission at the university. The article presents the results of this study, a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the responses of of Tyumen Industrial University students described in the form of tables and diagrams.
