FEATURES OF THE FUNCTIONING OF THE PRONOUN-PARTICLE SUCH IN THE MODERN RUSSIAN

The article examines the cases of using the word such as a pronoun and a particle pronoun, comments on the grammatical and functional features of this lexeme, describes the graded (amplifying) properties of the unit under study. The article is written in line with the structural and semantic approach based on the doctrine of functional and semantic categories. The gradual properties and the gradual function are related to the fact that there is a gradoseme in the semantic structure of the word (part of the meaning indicating an increasing or decreasing degree of manifestation of the feature) or to the fact that the word under certain conditions exhibits the properties of the amplifying component of the sentence-utterance. These conditions may be contained in the specifics of the speech situation, the intention of the speaker, or in the emotionally expressive coloring of the environment of the graded component. The detection and analysis of graded components allows us to take a different look at the linguistic personality and speech interaction of people, to see in the communication non-obvious means of influencing the interlocutor or interlocutors, which are of a mixed nature, therefore can be effective in solving communicative tasks. The graduated (amplifying) component in words of pronominal origin does not pay attention to recipients, since it is not the main functional feature, which is determined by the pronominal nature, but by what the speaker can regulate.
