The results of the analysis of the poetic worldview in the poems of Mels Sambuev are presented in the article. It is the concept of chronotopos that mainly dominates in them. The novelty of the study is to show the significance of the wandering chronotopos in the poetry of Mels Sambuev that has not yet been studied in the Buryat literary criticism. The poet's lyrics has not yet been considered from this point of view. Analysis of the poems in this aspect gives an opportunity for better understanding the poetic world of Mels Sambuev, allows to understand his lyrics, gives new perspectives for understanding the creativity and significance of his works in a modern Buryat society. Poems translated by V. Strelkov and by the author of the article are used in the research.
Biographical, historical literary and descriptive methods are used.
