CONCEPTUAL SPACE OF FORGIVENESS IN RUSSIAN AND CHINESE LINGUOCULTURES

The article presents a comparative research of the concept FORGIVENESS in the context of Russian and Chinese linguocultures. The main research methods are the descriptive method and conceptual analysis. There are considered the features of the representation of forgiveness in the conceptual space of two linguocultures. The material of the research is dictionary definitions of the lexeme of the same name, the embodiment of the concept in phraseological units, paremias, in Russian and Chinese literary texts. Based on the analyzed material, there are revealed the features of similarity and differences in the interpretations of the concept FORGIVENESS in the conceptual space of Russian and Chinese linguocultures.
