This article considers pedagogical functions in a digital society. Based on the analysis of existing classifications of teacher functions and pedagogical practice, a new classification of pedagogical functions is proposed. A structural model of professional functions of a teacher in a digital educational environment, consisting of 14 pedagogical functions, is described. The article considers both the most common traditional functions of a teacher, which have received disclosure of aspects related to their implementation in the context of digitalization of society, and completely new functions of a teacher that were not described in pedagogical science earlier. Some possibilities and problems of the digital educational environment in the implementation of pedagogical activity are considered. The obtained results can be used for better organization of training specialists in the field of education to perform professional functions.
