THE USE OF VIRTUAL AND AUGMENTED REALITY TECHNOLOGIES IN CORPORATE TRAINING

Traditional learning has undergone significant changes due to the coronavirus pandemic, which highlights the need for innovative teaching methods. Virtual and augmented reality technologies have the potential to change the paradigms of corporate learning by providing a gamified, exciting and engaging education. The article discusses the concepts and essence of virtual and augmented reality technologies, using examples of domestic and foreign research and practical application of these technologies, the advantages of their implementation in education are shown and systematized. The author identified and characterized the following advantages of using virtual and augmented reality technologies in corporate training: immersive learning (in conditions as close as possible to real ones), practical application (step-by-step instructions or tips right at the workplace), increased employee involvement in training compared to traditional methods, improved memorability of information, versatility and accessibility (learning anytime, anywhere), safety and error control, analytics and feedback for evaluating and improving training programs, customization and adaptability to the individual needs of employees or specific tasks of the company. The use of these technologies in corporate training not only makes the process more efficient and exciting, but also allows companies to adapt faster to changes, increasing competitiveness in the market.
