The article reveals the specifics of the formation of linguistic consciousness of Russians through legal norms of codes and social justice, reflected through the prism of perception of regulatory legal acts. Today, the main problem of justice is not to achieve complete equality of all members of society, but to create a meritocratic social inequality. This means that it is important to establish a clear connection between the financial condition of people and their skills, abilities, personal activity, as well as the results of their professional activities. In this context, the understanding of social justice implies a "deserved reward", which is based on specific social principles consistent with the established moral and ethical norms of society. The article actualizes the thesis that the process of ensuring fair inequality leads to constant value contradictions. These contradictions are manifested between liberal ideas and basic democratic principles, between the rules of modern market relations and the concept of justice, as well as between personal freedom and moral values. The existence of codes and social justice strengthens citizens' confidence in the stability of their social and material environment, and also contributes to the formation of their self-identification through linguistic consciousness. Thus, it can be argued that in order to achieve social justice, it is necessary to take into account many factors, including individual achievements and social conditions. It is important to create a system in which the successes and efforts of each person will be assessed fairly, and not on the basis of arbitrary criteria. This requires a thorough analysis of existing norms and values, as well as their revision in accordance with modern realities.
