Thirdly, the use of slang can simplify complex ideas, making them more accessible to a wider audience. Finally, slang helps the material remain relevant, as it reflects current trends and cultural changes.
As an example, the author analyzes the magazine "Cosmopolitan Australia," which actively employs slang expressions in its articles. This approach allows the magazine to engage a younger audience by creating a sense of familiarity and relevance. Slang not only enriches the content but also serves important communicative functions, making the text more appealing and accessible to readers.
