THE ROLE OF INTERDISCIPLINARY APPROACH IN PROFESSIONALLY ORIENTED FOREIGN LANGUAGE TEACHING

The purpose of the article is to show the positive effect of combining different areas of knowledge in teaching a professionally oriented foreign language at university. The objectives are to analyze the didactic potential of the content and language integrated learning method for implementing an interdisciplinary approach in teaching a professionally oriented foreign language. Hypothesis: it is assumed that the use of an interdisciplinary approach in teaching a professionally oriented foreign language at university contributes to the productive assimilation of educational material. Research methods: analysis of methodological literature, observation, description of teaching experience. The achieved result is an expansion of the range of methods and resources used in teaching a professionally oriented foreign language.
