Crafts lessons (technology) play a key role in the formation of technical and practical skills among students in modern educational institutions. The article is devoted to the training tools implementation research used in this field. The article considers the possibility, as well as the relevance of using the Arduino hardware during crafts lessons (technology) within the module «Robotics» in secondary school. The article analyses the Russian Federation regulatory acts connected with this field and analysis the subject educational programs on the subject. This article reviews literature, scientific articles and textbooks considering both theoretical recommendations and practical tasks on the organization of the training process, with technical description of necessary elements of the Arduino hardware. The author cites the advantages of the Arduino hardware over other analogues, the features of the microcontroller, as well as technical possibilities for its application. The relevance of technical skills which stimulate creative thinking, solving practical problems and creates a reliable basis for training full-fledged professionals in the field of robotics is justified. The study’s objective: to study the features of the educational process organization during crafts lessons (technology) robotics module, to consider the possibility of using the Arduino hardware application for achieving pedagogical goals.
