ON ACTIVITY PROFILING OF VERBS AND ADVERBIAL MODIFIERS OF PLACE AND TIME IN EVERYDAY TEXTS DESCRIBING THE ACTIVITIES OF SUBJECTS

The article analyzes the representation of activity in the texts of everyday communication on the example of 30 randomly selected posts from social networks. The relevance of the topic is caused by the high scientific potential of the activity theory for analyzing the subject’s purposeful activity, in particular the activity represented in the text of social networks. The main research method is the analysis of the semantic classes of verbs representing the stages of activity and the adverbial modifiers of time and space representing the chronotope. The author has examined the representation of the stages of activity and has studied the lexical units that verbalize the chronotope and actions at different stages. The conclusion reveals the variable nature of describing the stages of activity and the regular nature of describing the chronotope.
