This article characterizes the professional culture of a higher education teacher in the modern educational paradigm. The importance of the process of permanent self-development and self-improvement of a modern teacher is revealed.
The political, social, economic and socio-cultural changes taking place in modern society have affected all spheres of functioning of the state, society and the individual. The domestic educational system, from primary to higher education, is no exception.
The modern age is the age of the highest computer technologies, digitalization and automation of the entire educational system; the era of advanced processes and innovative technologies and mechanisms. Mastering professional knowledge and skills has become an obvious reality of modern educational practice.
Professional knowledge, skills and abilities are an integral part of the professional and pedagogical culture of a university teacher. Improving the professional culture of a teacher is of particular importance, since the modern changing labor market imposes very strict demands.
