TEACHING A FOREIGN LANGUAGE AT SCHOOL TECHNOLOGY OF DEVELOPING META-SUBJECT SKILLS OF SCHOOLCHILDREN THROUGH INTERACTIVE LEARNING

The article is devoted to the development of methodological foundations for the formation and development of meta-subject skills in the process of teaching a foreign language at school. The author identifies the main contradictions that exist at a specific point in time in this area of scientific and practical knowledge. In order to resolve them, a technology for developing meta-subject skills of schoolchildren through interactive teaching of a foreign language, tested on an average sample, is proposed and described, (a) aimed at creating conditions for the development of these skills, created through the implementation of rationally selected methods and techniques of interactive teaching; (b) involving in its content a “key” discourse aimed at the formation and development of meta-subject thinking of schoolchildren and the accumulation of relevant knowledge, mastering the method of application of which will allow developing meta-subject skills; (c) based on an algorithm consisting of an imperative sequence of acts of cognition (both scientific and educational): “meaning – recall – memorization – application in action” (movement, thinking, action, etc.), aimed at the intellectual development of the student and his reflexive position in learning – focused on mastering speech-thinking activity and understanding the method of this activity.
