Analyzing the history of the development of the methodology of teaching foreign languages as a scientific field, it can be concluded that the goal of teaching is constantly changing depending on different geopolitical conditions. Methodologists had different views on the priority of the formation of a particular type of speech activity, which led to changes in program requirements. The emergence of new technologies always pushes teachers to analyze their potential in teaching languages and look for opportunities to use them in the educational process. The use of technologies based on artificial intelligence is an urgent and debatable task in the work of a modern teacher. It is quite obvious that the current stage of development of society involves not only updating the content and goals of education, but also those technologies that are used in the educational process. The article provides several examples of using the Creative Assistant in teaching foreign language writing.
