FORMATION OF WRITTEN GERMAN LANGUAGE SKILLS IN SECONDARY SCHOOL

The article is devoted to the description of research on the formation of students' written communicative competence. The author pays special attention to the issue of the formation of students' written speech at the middle stage of education. At all stages of learning German at school, the forms and methods of teaching written language should also be researched and analyzed. The author believes that when studying written speech, one should rely on the process of the influence of ageelated psychological characteristics, that is, the properties of the psyche inherent in a certain age of students. They should be taken into account by the teacher when organizing the educational process. As a result of the conducted research, the author came to the conclusion that preparatory exercises play a dominant role in the formation of students' written speech, which are among the most effective means of developing writing skills. Exercises are an integral part of the process of mastering writing.
