The article reveals the concept of digital art education, examines its development history in China, and analyses the key issues in this field's formation. These include the challenges of effective interdisciplinary integration, the contradiction between technological rationality and sensory expression, and the risk of traditional art content erosion. It is concluded that digital art education in China should focus on forming and realising cultural values, a necessary condition for its sustainable development.
