The article is devoted to the identification and presentation of general universal forms of being of the substance of language – space and time, which relate to basic theoretical concepts. In science, this problem can be posed only when methods for identifying the qualitative and quantitative certainty of the elements of the corresponding system have been developed and their interaction is observed.
Experimental study of the substantial nature of language using computer programs for data processing, as well as methods of mathematical statistics, contributed to the identification of three hierarchical spaces of language and two phase transition spaces. Language is a system with different interacting units within each of the spaces, and since each language has its own temporal form, it is impossible to do without the concept of time, since the localization of nodes of contradictions, active centers, which determined the specificity of the evolution of the English language, unlike German, depends on it. Nonlinear systems are not reduced to a simple sum of their constituent parts; in them, the interaction of these parts plays a large role, leading to a change in the properties of the entire system. The processes occurring in the language system are arranged in a similar way at its various hierarchical levels.
The identification of the natural essence of the control parameters in each of the hierarchical spaces, as it turned out, depends on the specificity of the implementation of the marked element of the language spaces. Considering space and time in an inseparable unity with the substantial being of language, we can state that these are two aspects of a single material language system, possessing a multitude of different qualitative units and their inevitable interaction with each other. The universality of space and time, their qualitative uniqueness lies in the fact that the forms of realization of linguistic units in speech cannot exist outside of time and space. The qualitative certainty of each language is formed in the process of evolution and their isolation appears as something separate and singular in Hegelian logic is defined as "being for itself".
