The article examines modern approaches to reform and innovation in the practice of vocal education at Chinese universities using the example of interaction with Russian-Chinese cooperative educational programs. The main problems are analyzed, such as obsolescence of educational content, low motivation of students, lack of full-fledged practical training, and ways to overcome them are proposed. Particular attention is paid to the individualization of training, the integration of information technologies and the development of cooperation with enterprises and media companies to create effective practical bases. The transformation of the educational process is discussed, aimed at increasing the efficiency of interaction between teachers and students, as well as updating the content of courses in accordance with modern labor market requirements.
