The development of self-awareness in senior preschoolers depends on their social environment, which usually includes family and kindergarten. Consequently, parents and educators are able to create the most effective and efficient conditions for the development of the personality as a whole, as well as for children's awareness and self-assessment. The results of our experiment make it possible to come to a conclusion about the importance and necessity of active interaction between a preschooler and the surrounding world, including the child's social environment and objects. With competent control and participation of an adult (parent or educator), aimed at cooperation, consideration of individuality and a positive assessment of successes, the probability of timely development of self-awareness increases significantly.
