INFLUENCE OF HEDONIC ADJUSTMENT MECHANISM ON FOREIGN LANGUAGE TRAINING

The topic of educating professional personnel being capable to solve problems in a foreign language remains relevant at Russian higher school. The article discusses the issues of creating conditions for high-quality foreign language training of students at a non-linguistic university, taking into account the peculiarities of hedonic adaptation inherent in the younger generation. The analysis of psychological and pedagogical literature allows the readers to answer some questions related to the motivational and demotivational aspects of students who master the discipline "Foreign language in the professional sphere". Some pieces of practical advice can help learners avoid or slow down the pace of hedonic adjustment. Organizational and pedagogical conditions are being substantiated and seem to contribute to more effective language training of specialists who will determine the further development of Russian economy.
