The article highlights key features of linguo-cultural approach in the process of teaching Russian as a foreign language and its opportunities to training in foreign languages. The relevance of the studied problem is due to the need to choose effective ways of stimulating foreign students' interest in the learning Russian language and in the process the formation of linguoculturological competence key.
The author of the article emphasize that linguo-cultural approach special attention is the culture of the country of the studied language and the formation of the pragmatically oriented linguocultural abilities and skills. and this is reflected in the content of the teaching Russian as a foreign language and in the applied methods of teaching. According to author, one of the major areas of linguodidactic today is linguo-cultural approach: the use of the linguo-cultural approach contributes of stimulating foreign students' interest in the learning and contributes of to a more effective formation of students' intercultural and communicative competence.
