The work is devoted to the study of the specifics of training students who are enrolled in targeted recruitment in medical institutions of secondary vocational education. The article presents regulatory legal acts. reflecting the content of this topic, in particular, the Decisions of the Government of the Russian Federation on targeted training of specialists with higher and secondary vocational education, which allows to determine the foundations of educational interaction of colleges with other subjects. Based on the analysis of literature sources, the authors develop recommendations for the correction and improvement of the educational process through the personalization of training. At the same time, they talk not only about the importance of targeted training itself, but also about the significance of personal traits and qualities, the formation of a value system, and other socially significant characteristics necessary for successful mastery of a profession. The authors pay considerable attention to the requests of employers who sign contracts for the training of medical specialists for institutions. Depending on this, it is proposed to focus on the development and improvement of those professionally significant qualities that are necessary in specific healthcare institutions. In this regard, there is a need to organize a comprehensive, targeted, and effective interaction between educational institutions and organizations that, due to the need for personnel, sign contracts for the targeted training of specialists.
