In the article, the authors address the issue of developmental designing primary foreign language education. Based on modern linguistic and didactic research and normative educational documents, the authors argue that in addition to students learning language and speech material, foreign language lessons in primary school should develop children's cognitive and communication abilities, their autonomy in learning, and motivation for further language learning. Also, primary school students should be developed a respectful attitude towards a different culture and more conscious attitude towards your nation culture. Thus, planned foreign language learning outcomes, outlined in the Federal State educational standard of primary education and the Federal work program of primary foreign language education, will be achieved. The authors consider that an important condition for solving this problem is the use of educational technologies by a foreign language teacher in primary school lessons, which ensure the developmental designing foreign language education. There are communication and dialogue technologies, problem-based and gamification technologies, and information of the educational process.
