Essence of evaluation the teachers' pedagogical competence in Ukraine and USA

This article is focused on the essence of evaluation the teachers’ pedagogical competence; contradictions of diagnosis the level knowledge quality and effectiveness of teaching the subjects are found out; the basic components of evaluation structure is analyzed; the determinations of teachers’ pedagogical competence and “teacher’s portfolio” are formulated; the progress of education and its financing trend is indicated.
