Canada's role in the development of the Arctic shelf

Among the arctic countries, Canada and Russia have the largest territories in that region. Arctic north is full with different resources, based on that it has a strategic status. In view of the factor that this region is becoming more popular among different countries and the Canadian border located very close, Canada has to protect its national interests by increasing the limit of the military troops, organizing researching and humanitarian missions between arctic countries.
