Factors of Minsk post-War reconstruction

The article investigates the reasons that contributed to the recovery and growth of Minsk after the Great Patriotic War. The achievements in the development of the city during the second half of 1940 – 1950-ies noted in the article confirm the opinion of researchers about the Soviet economic miracle of that period by which present Minsk became one of the major European cities with high economic potential.
