«There is no such word, to express what I feel”: toward neuropsychological nature of emotion and its verbalization

The article looks at neuropsychological basis of human emotional processes. A short review of Quartet Theory of Emotions is presented as well as a scheme of emotional feelings verbalization. It is proposed, that due to the current level of neuroscience development it is impossible to classify emotional lexis basing on the neuropsychological aspect of emotions. Main modern linguistic approaches toward emotional classification are presented.
