Set similes in the English and Tajik languages

The article deals with the study of set similes which possess phraseological features often illustrated in special English and Tajik phraseological dictionaries. The author gives particular attention to the set similes which refer to lexical and thematic category and its structure. Considering the samples the author has classified them into several categories: The author also reveals the selected lexical and thematic categories on the base of national culture. Theoretical statements had been proved by practical analysis of samples taken from Tajik and England fiction/ which are capable to show distinctly stability of the phraseological comparison/ The set similes including more than two or three components such as + N; like +N in English and N+ барин, N+ мисли и чун+ N+ adj in Tajik have also been studied. The author distinguishes that there are some set similes in both in English and Tajik can be direct equivalent and no direct equivalent
