Baku oil industry in the years of initial five-year plans

The article is devoted to the early years of establishment of the Soviet oil industry and its development during the years of initial five-year industrial plans. The work covers advantages and disadvantages of the state-run economy when a state was the only owner and there were no market mechanisms of economic development.
