Particular characteristics of teaching German as a second foreign language at a nonlinguistic university

The article discusses the main features of teaching German as a second foreign language based the English language at a nonlinguistic university. In addition, the positive and negative role of the first foreign language in the study of a second one is highlighted. Some methodological aspects of teaching the German language are affected too. As well as possible ways of solving learning problems are showed.
