Techniques and specifics of the legal terminology translation (on the basis of Russian and English legal documents)

The paper investigates the problem of translation of legal terms from English into Russian. The study is carried out of the specific methods of such translation as well as of the factors influencing its adequacy and equivalence of the legal terms used. The author offers legal terms classification as based on their general characteristics: the structure, sense and origin. Various techniques of the translation of legal terminology are considered.
