Unfinetary forms of verbal: infinites, gerundias, participation. Value, properties, and syntax functions. The concept of semigerundy

Non-finite forms refer to one of the most mobile parts of the language system, allowing to trace the development of the entire language system. The article provides a comparative analysis of the syntactic position, functions and characteristics of nonfinite verb forms - infinitive, gerund, half-gerund, participle in texts. The results of the analysis are presented in the tables. The main development tendencies characteristic of the studied non-finite forms are revealed.
