The concept of pedagogical innovation in high school

The valorization of the process of learning in higher education has a key importance for achieving the academic goals of higher education institutions and acts as the basis of pedagogical innovations. The research goal presented in brief the research was to identify, describe and define the concept of «pedagogical innovation», from the point of view of the faculty in conditions of higher school. Justification identified in the theoretical analysis previously carried out numerous research works of scientists was carried out through the method of constant comparison, between the observed reality and the results of the analysis. During the iterative process of gradual theoreticaly, we adhere to six fundamental stages: coding, categorisation, connection, integration, modelling and theorization. To ensure accuracy and validity in the analysis of the results of the survey was conducted verification of coding followed a reverse coding. Analysis of the obtained data allowed to identify seven different interpretations of the concept «pedagogical innovation», to build it updated the definition and to propose a cycle of pedagogical innovation.
