Improvement of professional competences of the faculty of Higher Education Institutions of the system of professional development

The article presents the ways and means of improving the qualifications of teaching staff of the University in the field of the theory and practice of organization of teaching activities, describes the main approaches to the organization of the system of additional professional education. The author focus on developing a system of professional development in which you must give every teacher the opportunity to realize own trajectory of the organization of vocational and educational activities, to develop as a researcher in the field of educational activities, tutor, head of project work. Priorities of forming of personnel policy of higher education institution contact professional development of scientific and pedagogical workers, the basis for compliance to criteria for evaluation of activity of higher education institution is formed. This installation has defined need of creation of system of additional professional education for the sphere of pedagogics and psychology of the higher school. It is most demanded for engineering, legal, economic higher education institutions and also this directions of preparation in structure of the universities where often the faculty is formed by the graduates who don't have profile pedagogical education. In this regard the system of "internal" professional development acts as an effective basis of development of the pedagogical competences, necessary for the organization of educational process, influencing quality of the carried-out activity. This installation fully meets the requirements of creation of system of professional education "during all life" that is an important component of management of process of sociocultural modernization of the higher education.
