Creative heritage of K.N. Leontyev in the contemporary scientific literature

The name of K.N. Leontyev (1831 – 1891) is a kind of the world «brand» of the ideological Russian conservatism. The contemporary development stage of the Leontyev studies is characterized by an increased attention to Leontyev in Russia, and reduction of the same interest abroad. A whole complex of serious Leontyev studies has been developed in the Russian and world historiography by now. However, many problems, including first of all those related to the social and political views of Leontyev, have got no adequate solution. Moreover, different authors provide rather contradictory evaluations to these Leontyev's views.
