On the Current Research Status of the Concept “Cobornost” in Russian Classical Literature in China

This paper aims at studding the current research status of the concept “Cobornost” in Russian classical literature in China and the rethinking on it. In the article the author gives a generalized description of the study of the relations of Russian classical literature with Orthodoxy, noting that Chinese scholars’ research in this area is mainly focused on the influence of “Cobornost” on the creative consciousness of writers and creative themes of works. According to Chinese scholars, the influence of “Cobornost” on Russian classical literature is also manifested in the fact that “Cobornost” has an impact on the structure of literary works, and the development of Russian literature in a sense enriches the concept of “Cobornost”. Based on the analysis, the author comes to the conclusion that Chinese scholars should pay more attention to how Russian literature solves the problem of human nature and care about the fate of the Russian nation and all mankind, at the same time make clear the mechanism of spiritual self-purification and the desire for truth, goodness and beauty.
