Linguistic personality in publicistic media discourse in the 18 century (based on the materials of the magazine “Morning light”, 1777–1780)

The article describes the linguistic research of the author’s linguistic personality, represented in the images of the main communicant in media discourse at the 2nd half of the 18th century. The magazine “Morning light”, published by the Russian educator Nikolay Novikov in 1777-1780 is the study. The author considers the “historical” media discourse in order to identify conceptual dominants and discursive means. The article analyses the author and the addressee as participants in discursive interaction, and linguistic cognitive communication.
