Representation of the metaphorical nature of children’s fantasy J. Rowling in Russian translation

The article deals with the results of stylistic analysis of the representation of one of the resources of semasiology – metaphors found in the first work of John. Rowling "Harry Potter and the Philosopher's stone" in Russian translations. Stylistic resources of semasiology of the source text are studied as one of the main components of the writer's idiostyle. Stylistic analysis is carried out both in General and in the language form of the work, which is in unity with the ideation, emotionality and imagery of his poetry, the latter is interpreted as the essence of the literary text, which, in General, determines the relevance of our study.
