Specifics of the Kyakhta branch of the russian-chinese bank in the beginning of the XX century

The article presents an analysis of the activities of the branch of the Russian-Chinese Bank, located geographically on the lands of the Kyakhtinskaya Sloboda of Troitskosavsk in the late XIX – early XX centuries, which currently represent the territory of modern Buryatia. The practical activities of the Bank branch that promote effective trade with Mongolia and China are considered in detail. The financial activity of the Department allowed not only to increase the trade turnover, but also to strengthen the political influence of the Russian Empire in the neighboring territories.
