the article deals with the linguodidactic foundations of the interpretation of a literary text. Interpretation of a literary text is a complex activity, including perception, understanding of the written / oral text and its elements, as well as the production of speech, analysis and evaluation of its content. The use of literary text in the educational process is one of the methods to achieve various kinds of learning objectives successfully.
