Alieva Samaya Azerovna  (Cand. of Sciences (Philology), senior lecturer, Dagestan State University (Makhachkala))

The unequal quantitative composition of onomatopes in the languages of different systems depends on linguistic and extra linguistic reasons. The onomatopoeic nature of words in some cases is not realized by modern speakers of Russian and Kumyk languages. A large number of such words can be found among ornithonyms. Keywords:denaturalization, motivation, composite, onomatop, phonosemantic analysis, etymon.
