On the typology of nonequivalent vocabulary

The article is devoted to the problem of the typology of non-equivalent vocabulary. This class of words is vast, and the words-realities denoting event names remain on the periphery of linguists' attention. For these units, the term evenonym is proposed. As a result of the analysis of the texts of the German press, three groups of eventonyms were defined.
