Modern world trends for improving the physical training of military services

The analysis of the organization of physical training in the armies of the countries of the world is presented, as well as the tendencies of its further development. The purpose of the research is to study world trends in the organization of physical training of military personnel. It was assumed that the identification of the characteristic features of the physical training of military personnel will reveal the current trends in its improvement. To solve the research problems, theoretical methods of pedagogical research were used. An analysis of the sources of special literature indicates that physical training is one of the main subjects of combat (individual) and military professional training of servicemen from different countries. It is considered as an integral system, which also consists of a set of interrelated elements that must ensure the efficiency of functioning in accordance with the requirements that apply to the physical readiness of military personnel in the process of their professional activities. It was revealed that modern armies mainly use a mixed model of physical training based on the use of applied sports. Based on the analysis of sources of special literature, considering the positive experience of reforming similar systems of foreign armies of the leading countries of the world, the directions for improving the system of physical training of military personnel are determined, intensification, individualization, humanization, modernization and activation of the process of physical training.
