POLITICALLY CORRECT EUPHEMISMS IN MIGRATION DISCOURSE

The relevance of the study of politically correct euphemisms is due to the need to study modern discursive practices. The use of euphemisms is particularly intense. Euphemisms are widely used in the areas of linguistic reflection of socio-political events, becoming an important tool for softening the presentation of evidence that can cause anxiety, fear, and even public protest. This article discusses politically correct euphemisms based on the report of the International Organization for Migration for 2020 and 2022.
