IMAGES OF WOMEN AND MEN IN THE LINGUISTIC PICTURE OF THE WORLD (BASED ON THE MATERIAL OF RUSSIAN PHRASEOLOGY)

This article investigates the images of women and men in the context of Russian phraseology. The connection of phraseological manifestations of these images and the social roles of women and men in society is investigated, the meaning of popular phraseological units about a man and a woman is analyzed. The selection of phraseological units was carried out according to a broad interpretation of the scope of phraseology, that is, by phraseological units we understand not only idiomatics – the center of phraseology, but also other (peripheral) types of phraseological units, in particular, having the structure of a sentence – proverbs, sayings, aphorisms, paired phrases, winged expressions, since we consider the analysis of PHU to be the main task., included in the phraseosemantic field (FSF) person. The article summarizes a number of studies on genderology and presents conclusions based on the results of such an analysis.
