THE ORTHODOX QUESTION IS IN THE PROGRAMS OF RIGHT-MONARCHIST IDEOLOGISTS

Kirichuk Danila Vitalievich  (Graduate student, Moscow City University)

This article analyzes the Orthodox question and its place in the programs of right-monarchist ideologists of the early twentieth century. The main theses of thinkers of the right-wing Russian camp regarding the role of the ROC and spiritual traditions are considered, and an explanation is given why the pre-Petrine times were taken by the right-monarchists as a reference period. The article presents the evolution of the views of rightwing monarchists on the religious issue, in particular, the reaction to the adoption of the Manifesto on October 17, after which many rightwing monarchists joined in direct confrontation with the current Russian legislation, offering their options to strengthen the position of Orthodoxy in the empire. There are also options for strengthening the Orthodox system of views through weakening various other systems of views. Through the prism of the Orthodox question, it becomes possible to assume models of the restructuring of the state in the ideas of right-monarchist ideologists.
