The article analyzes the use of GTO diaries (self-control and parental control) in preparing children of senior preschool and primary school age to pass the standards of the All-Russian Sports Society "GTO". Variants of self-control and parental control diaries for the GTO by other authors were analyzed. It is presented in detail what functions the GTO diary should perform. Attention is focused on the need to take into account age-related developmental characteristics when developing the GTO diary. As a novelty, a TRP diary with stickers is presented, as most suitable for children of senior preschool and primary school age. In conclusion, it is noted that the GTO diary should become one of the components of the management and control system for the long-term training process of preparation for the GTO. This article presents a version of the GTO diary (self-control and parental control) for older preschoolers and junior schoolchildren, whose age corresponds to the first and second stages of the GTO. However, self-control diaries are also relevant for all other, older, participants of the All-Russian Sports Society "GTO", which require development taking into account their psychophysical characteristics of development.

Keywords:GTO, GTO diary, self-control, parental control, general physical training, children of senior preschool age, junior schoolchildren.
