BASIC CONCEPTS OF THE RUSSIAN AND CHINESE PAREMIOLOGICAL PICTURE OF THE WORLD

In the article, the author, based on an analysis of research interpretations of the concept “picture of the world”, as well as their correlation with the paremiological dimension, puts forward a general definition of the paremiological picture of the world. The main concepts present in the Russian and Chinese paremiological pictures of the world are identified. Based on the analysis of these concepts, the author makes an important conclusion about the similarities and differences in the paremiological pictures of the world of the Russian and Chinese peoples, determines the main meanings that were incorporated by representatives of the Russian and Chinese cultures into the concepts under study, and compares the paroemias present in the Russian and Chinese languages.
